About the Author

The author is a former senior executive of an international high-tech firm. The author cashed out stock options and pursued a retirement career in Academia, researching and publishing papers in journals about emerging technologies. This career afforded a front-row seat to the evolution of information technology. For three painful years, the author taught themselves the trade craft of creative writing and found their voice.

The Valley of Silicon Idols started as high-tech stories that were edited out of from Inferno on Earth due to fit, not quality. When there were enough of them, it was decided to make them their own collection.
